Ericz has a corporate practice based around commercial contracts, sustainability / ESG and privacy.  He has a unique blend of expertise derived from working in a top regional law firm, and in regional and global in-house roles with a Fortune 100 logistics company and a healthcare and medical device company.  These experiences provide him with a strong appreciation of business dynamics, cultural nuances and insights of the global business trends.

 

He has worked with established global businesses to startups across a variety of sectors with a strong focus on medical technology and healthcare.  He advises businesses, their owners and management teams on:

He is awarded Green GC:  South-East Asia in 2023 by Legal 500 in recognition of his active involvement in pioneering initiatives in sustainability and ESG. 

 

Ericz is also an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) and a Mentor with the Singapore University of Technology and Design - Venture, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SUTD VIE).

  • WS Audiology, a global leading hearing aid manufacturer, in its pre and post merger activities (following the merger of a former Siemens business unit and Widex), including completion of ISO / IEC 27001 certification (Information Security Management System), sustainability / ESG reporting covering topics such as governance, compliance, human rights and vendor management, privacy topics in Asia Pacific, and businesses in China, Japan and Korean markets

  • Korvac Holdings, an IT company, in a ~EUR30 million divestment of its subsidiaries to an international payment processing company

  • Microsoft, a global leading IT company, in the post acquisition transfer of Nokia employees and Singapore harmonisation of employment policies

  • Deutsche Post DHL, a global logistics company, in its businesses in Singapore and Malaysia, including services agreements, warehousing agreements, capacity agreements, IOR/EOR and industrial leases

  • Forefront Medical, a medical device manufacturer, for contract manufacturing of medical devices

  • various startups in matters such as development and licensing of software and mobile applications, structuring of employee incentive scheme without the equity
